Hallways are floor to ceiling oak, nice oak trim, new room configuration. Counter space for the bathroom area was large and included a separate vanity area with mirror and vanity chair. There was a small desk area with a chair and lamp for computer hookups, and the crowning glory was that the beds are triple sheeted. I love that! I'd stay here again gladly. -ElCheapster
Best Stay Imaginable!!
We were in town for our wedding shower/engagement party. Friends booked our room here at the Ramada and the party was booked in the lounge. I cannot say enough nice things about everyone here. When the desk agent found out why we were in town, she immediately upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite. She and the manager were both so friendly and really made us feel welcome. The room was AWESOME! Really spacious, obviously clean and quite romantic with the big jacuzzi tub right in the bedroom. Then we went down to the lounge and what an experience - the DJ came over to ask why we were there (our friends had set out some balloons so I guess we were noticeable) and he spent some time getting to know about us. When he started his set, he began with a first song/dance dedicated to the two of us - totally caught us off guard but had us smiling ear to ear. The entire night was so much fun, the employees and the other guests were so much fun. Saginaw gets a pretty bad rep most of the time but this place was absolutely incredible. THANK YOU!!!!! -Time2Go1516
Wedding Group Block
Our son and daughter-in-law were recently married and chose this sight as the hotel for their guests. We had an excellent experience. There was a total of 48 rooms booked for the weekend and each room was absolutely beautiful. Our visit and experience was wonderful; starting with Sandra at the front desk; the cleaning staff, breakfast attendant and restaurant/lounge staff. The shuttle service provided to our guests for the dress rehearsal party and the wedding reception was timely and well organized throughout the event. Guests were able to have early check-in and the rooms were immaculate. The size, cleanliness and amenities offered by the rooms at the Ramada Inn-Saginaw are of the same caliber that you would expect at a 5-Star hotel. We would recommend this facility to anyone needing a wonderful stay in the Saginaw area. -Deanna P.
Great extended stay
I have stayed here multiple times for extended periods during rotations in medical school. The room is great and service is excellent. -Nini A.
Happy New Year!!
I stayed at the Ramada Inn Saginaw for their New Year's Eve Celebration. I was pleasantly greeted by the friendly staff. They had a Hollywood Theme and my room was decorated with a Hollywood star and complimentary bottle of champagne with an autograph picture of the famous Dean Martin - what a nice touch! The room was very clean and comfortable - the party was fantastic and the band was outstanding - I think I will definitely consider this hotel for next New Year's Eve! Everything was wonderful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling into Saginaw for business or a getaway! -Alexis G.
I wish all hotels could be just like this one
As far as I'm concerned, this hotel is nearly perfect. What a wonderful surprise! First, it is spotlessly clean and the furnishings are beautiful. There is a lot of beautiful wood in this place, all beautifully polished. The carpets are in excellent shape. It is perhaps the best maintained hotel I've ever stayed in. This hotel offers outstanding services: free airport pickup, free van service within a very wide radius. During the week, (Mon. through Thur.) they offer breakfast *and dinner!* in the price. And these meals are not quickie buffets. There is an elegant dining room with table service by very pleasant, well trained wait staff. I had a full breakfast and a full dinner, complete with dessert, salad and beverage. The rates are extremely reasonable, too. The front desk staff bent over backwards to help and the shuttle driver could not have been nicer. The hotel is in a beautiful residential area. I took a long, long walk in beautiful neighborhoods adjacent to the Ramada. There aren't even any weeds in the lawns! I had a standard room in the front of the complex (which is very large). My room had a queen sized bed, a separate work area for use with a computer, a second area to do work, and a sofa that was in excellent shape. The bath/shower and toilet were separate from the wash area. The room had a refrigerator and microwave, ironing board/iron. It was beautifully furnished with quality furniture and a gorgeous wood armoire/closet...a big one. For anyone visiting Saginaw Valley State University, this one's a no brainer. This Ramada is much nicer than the chain hotels closer to the university and it's far less expensive. I stayed an extra day because I liked it that much. My highest compliments to the Ramada Inn and Suites in Saginaw, MI. I will be back. Keep up the great work. -constantraveler78
Great value, comfortable accommodations!
I highly recommend the hotel for medical students on rotation in the Saginaw area. The staff are professional and friendly. The atmosphere is very comfortable and quiet. There are sitting rooms to enjoy some peace and quiet while reading or studying. The suites are equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave perfect for light snacks. Dinner is included in the nightly rate (Mon-Thurs). Very happy with my selection to stay here and would definitely stay here again if my clerkships bring me back to the area. -mdsupacuchak
Who'd have thought?
Pleasant surprise would understate my reaction. This is a great place with a terrific staff. They are attentive and accommodating. Just one example: there is a free evening meal (not buffet...actually table service...one entree...better than decent), but we walked down to the dining room, over twenty of us, 10 minutes before it was over. I apologized for the timing and asked if there was anything they might be able to do. The young waitress was gracious and unflustered, saying simply "Sit down. We'll be happy to feed you." If that was any stretch she gave no sign of it. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. The fam. had almost 2 dozen rooms and everyone remarked on how nice the accommodations were. Best part? This is the least expensive of all the "brand name" properties in the area. Go figure. -MDWfan1
Beautiful hotel and rooms/suites!
I recently hosted my daughter's wedding, and had my family and friends stay at the Ramada for this event. They were all so impressed with the large beautiful rooms and suites. I really appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of their staff, especially Tamera. I will definitely continue to use the Ramada and highly recommend this hotel. -Helen H.
Rebooked for November
We usually stay closer to the FashionSq. Mall but this hotel was also very close and we were very impressed with the reviews, so we gave it a try and are we ever glad we did. The hotel was everything they said, the rooms were very spacious and very clean, they had a sink in the room along with a fridge, microwave, and a lovely vanity to apply your makeup. We had a free dinner in the restaurant that is available Mon-Thur and breakfast is available. we have said we look forward to going back in November. -greenfield45
Beautiful Hotel, We Will Be Back!!
Everything about this hotel is great, the rooms are beautiful and the cost is fantastic. From the time we checked in, everyone (Staff) until we left were very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this hotel if your planning a visit to Saginaw, you won't be disappointed. -Laura P.
Perfect for us... will stay again in future
We were back "home" for a funeral. Perfect spot for us to stay... we asked for quiet room and got it! Did not dine with free meal passes as we dined out with family for all dinners, but what a great deal had we been at the hotel!! Staff extremely helpful, free WIFI, FAX, copy machine, comfortable and very clean... we had king suite, extremely spacious, well appointed, frig, micro, tastefully decorated... at terrific price (and free breakfast and dinner!! WOW) It would be great place for family reunion trips... nice little 'living room' areas throughout hotel, also lovely patio out back with tables. It was centrally located for all of our activities. -M M
Friendly, clean and comfortable
I stay here often for business, and it has become my "home away from home". The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Convenient, central location. -SaginawTraveller
Possibly THE BEST hotel experience I've had!
We stayed here for 5 nights (in town for a funeral), sight unseen. Excellent rate (better than quoted). Excellent customer service. Extremely clean. Gave free dinner coupons for every night of stay (didn't get a chance to use them so I can't comment on that, but thought it was a fantastic value----first night's choice was salmon!). Breakfast was good. Most of staff were very friendly. Loved all the little "sitting" areas throughout the hotel. -the_queen38
We stayed at the Ramada Inn at Saginaw and booked a function for a wedding there long distance not having seen the hotel or function room. We were so pleased with the overall service. The suites were very large and comfortable for 4-5 people. Very comfortable beds and linens and a great value for the money. The hotel had plenty of sitting areas for all of us to meet and socialize. The Davenport Grill did a wonderful job with the buffet dinner, I didn't worry about a thing. Table linens and centerpieces were provided. The food was delicious and plentiful. The room was just the right size. Fred, Jessica and Brittany did an excellent job serving us, making sure everything was right. Tamera did a wonderful job communicating and setting up the function. There were other activities going on but the rooms are excellent at keeping noise out, both the function room and the hotel room. I was concerned never having seen the place before but I couldn't have asked for better, everything was wonderful. A great place and I highly recommend them. The front desk was very helpful with maps and directions as well. Absolutely wonderful!! -pngmeri091
